everyone, I want to talk about my love for big hair. Seriously. I think my life became much easier the day i stopped trying to make my hair smooth and discovered my love for combing backwards.

BAKED SALAD is the idea that is going to make me a million dollars. Orrrr not because i just shared it with you all free of charge ❤ ❤

=salad that is warm and filling, lazy and healthy and tasty as fuck.

Method: Take good shit, cut it up and bake it. Or more specifically:

oven at 350.

Take assortment of vegetables/greens/tofu/whatever you like. Potatoes or squash or carrots or some other lovely root vegetable is a good idea as they give you your carbohydrates and taste good. In fact I was partly inspired by the Kale Chips- (http://www.foodista.com/blog/2009/03/14/kale-chips/)

add oil and whatever seasonings you like. I actually used a lemony salad dressing in order to stick to the hot salad thing even more and it was delicious. 😀

put on pan and stick in oven. start with the ones that need to be cooked longest and add things such as greens closer to when it is done. If there is anything that you prefer raw, such as tomatoes, just throw them on top when it’s finished.

eat. notice that you are full.

while i enjoyed this movie, and the blood/gore/general brutal fuckedupness is well done and hard to look away from, it’s really not as meaningful as it strives to be- what’s your message Lars? women are evil? people are evil? nice one.

in addition i definitely rolled my eyes at the use of seriously the MOST cliched horror movie setups- dead child? check. tiny cabin out in the woods? check. homicidally insane naked female? also check.

it does succed visually  in terms of art though, cinematography is beautiful.  

some truly fucking hilarious/ridiculous talking animal moments as well.

to sum up- see it for sure. the violence didnt bother me even though i’m pretty squeamish and there are some absolutely priceless moments.

and also, here is the tofu scramble recipe I want everyone to have.

tofu scramble is amazing. with toast for breakfast you will be full for hours. can scrambled eggs do that???

SCRAMBLED TOFU (basically the same one as from ‘vegan with a vengenance’)

slice up an onion, some garlic, and some mushrooms.

cook onion until getting kind of soft, then add garlic, cumin, turmuric, pepper, salt, maybe some cayenne.

add sliced mushrooms and cook until they start to shrink and release water.

crumble in a brick of xfirm tofu and addmore of the spices. especially turmeric because it makes it yellow.

lift up mix around let cook till seems done.

eat with buttertoast and ketchup.

MAC shades I can personally recommend

– Ruby Woo- the best red there and it doesn’t come off. You only need to put on one layer to see the colour so you don’t have to cake anything on.

–  Myth- pale nude. When i wear it i usually just dab it on a bit sporadically so your lips actually look pale, instead of like you put on a bunch of white lipstick.

–  Pink Nouveau or Saint Germain – baby/Barbie pinks are pretty much the only pink i will wear on my face.

The black waterproof eyeliner is also really good.

Other makeup ideas

Wearing blush on your cheeks and also as eyeshadow makes you look all fresh and rosy.

Something i do if i’m really tired/stoned and i still want to go out is just play it up like this:

1. If you wear concealer/powder/whatever then put it on first.
2. Smudge a small amount of reddish eyeliner around your eyes. Mine is a shimmery red gold liquid, so i just apply it in dots along the lash line and smudge it from there.
3. Use a small amount of pale lipstick.
4. Omgosh, sooooo heroin chic!

It’s also really fun for parties to splash rainbow-y silver glitter all over your eyes, and then finish with a shit ton of good black mascara.  You end up with some glitter in your hair, clothes, etc, turning you into a fairy!
